Make a donation to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Arts who is fundraising for Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity at Hospital Arts Appeal 2010Your donation will be used to support the work of the Charity and its many projects. The Charity supports healthcare initiatives that are innovative. It funds research for new and improved healthcare solutions that save lives and deliver care as near to home as possible. The Charity also funds the purchase of medical equipment and services for patients, which enhance rather than replace core NHS funding. The Charity owns and maintains the collection of art for which the Hospital is renowned. Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity is committed to raising funds for the neonatal and paediatric care at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and to improving the health of the community it serves. The Charity has recently funded: • An Ultrasound Endoscope • North West London CLAHRC (Collaboration for Leadership in Applied Health Research and Care) research project to improve the patient experience of care • A pioneering robot for the Hospital’s pharmacy • Two incubators for the neonatal intensive care unit • A new art gallery on the first floor of the Hospital • Live performances of music in the Hospital’s atrium and the wards • Summer workshops for the Hospital’s children wards and Hospital School • Research into the effects of the arts in health care • Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity Research Fellowships at the Hospital’s medical school.
